Everyone....but everyone...asks, "How did you come up with the name SandDancr?

I have always loved dancing...especially the swing, samba, & cha-cha, just to name a few, and all my friends know this. In 1996 I was looking for a name and a friend dubbed me SandDancer (with an "e"), because I also live at the beach. You can't imagine how disappointed I was to learn that someone had already registered the name "SandDancer" on the internet....so SandDancr ( without the "e" ) was born. The original SandDancer contacted me shortly after I put my first site up...she lived in New Mexico or Arizona and had a specialty retail store that specialized in southwestern items. Her site is long gone....and I could have taken the name...but SandDancr became known, so I stuck with it.

I started doing graphics back in the early 80's. A Mac SE was my first foray into the world of graphics...and I became hooked Since that time, I have switched to a pc, only because software was more readily available. I still have my SE though...and it still works!

The last several years were spent teaching English in Korea..and I loved it. I taugh children from the ages of 2-15, eleven classes a day, at a private school. I also taught 3rd, 4th,5th and 6th grade children at a public elementary school once a week.

I have more interests than you can shake a stick at... and my latest love is fused glass...next to my handsome son and darling dog of course! And....no...that is not me up there reclining on the top of the page....I'd be the one "dancin' in the sand"!
